LIMUDEI KODESH CURRICULUM:
Ahavas Yisroel and Ahavas Eretz Yisroel
The Mesivta integrates Ahavas Yisroel and Eretz Yisroel as part of its curriculum. Not only are these themes stressed throughout the year in Minyan, Divrei Torah and shiur - but many times during the year special assemblies are held on these very important themes. The Mesivta has actually involved itself in letter writing campaigns to congress to speak out on Hamas terrorism, Israeli MIA’s, and Nazi war criminals residing in the United States. In fact, on this last issue, the Mesivta has been at the forefront of putting pressure on those murderers to be deported from the U.S. to stand trial in Eastern European Countries for crimes against humanity. Because the Mesivta maintains that many important lessons can only be taught outside the classroom, the Mesivta has spearheaded protest demonstrations in midtown Manhattan, Norwood, Massachusetts and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
