Talmidim learn to use the computer as a tool for problem solving and reasoning.

Computers 9 - The Office Suite

The purpose of this class is to help students learn how to use the Microsoft Office Suite of software products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.

In doing so, students become better-equipped to use a computer as a tool to communicate, calculate and coordinate information.

Computers 10 - Website Design

The purpose of this class is to help students learn how to communicate via the Internet through the creation of websites.

Students learn how to apply the techniques of photography, graphic art, copywriting, and html coding to create these sites with a specific communications objective.

This class will include an extensive investigation into the use of the Macromedia family of software programs including primarily Dreamweaver web authoring and Fireworks image processing.

The history and operation of the Internet will also be explored in order to further the student's understanding of the medium.

Computers 12 - Video Production

This course explores the technical skill, software capability and video production expertise required to produce an effective video program. Students learn how to write a script for a teleplay, create a working storyboard, capture high-quality images and audio and edit these images and audio into a coherent and effective audio-visual production. Elective - for seniors only.
